Evgenija Jeremic from Kragujevac is performing in March

Evgenija JeremicDuring the concert season “Convivium Musicum 17/18” we have the opportunity to host a large number of outstanding artists. We are proud of all the great performers who participate in our event, and pride is always a bit higher when one of our many successful fellow citizens performs at the concert. On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, we will listen to the outstanding young artist Evgenija Jeremic.
During her primary and secondary education in Kragujevac, Evgenija Jeremic has been prominent in winning major awards at the competitions. Awards and accomplishments continued after going to study in Belgrade, where she was declared a student of the generation at the Faculty of Music in December 2015. That same year, the classical music magazine “Muzika Klasika” awarded her with the Young Artist of the Year award. She performed the role of Stanka from opera Na uranku by Stanislav Binicki, Mimi from Puccini’s Boheme, Desdemona from Verdi’s Otello, Rosalinde from Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, sister Zelatrice from Puccini’s Suor Angelica, as well as the role of Angelica in her debut at the National Opera in Plovdiv.
At the concert on March 13th, Evgenija will be accompanied by a pianist Petar Markovic, an experienced piano collaborator behind which are many successes and performances.

Giuseppe Verdi – Pace mio Dio, aria Leonora from opera La forza de destino
Giuseppe Verdi – Surta e la notte … Ernani, involami! … Tutto sprezzo, aria of Elvira from opera Ernani
Francesco Cilea – Ecco, respiro appena … Io son l’umile ancella, aria of Adriana from the opera Adriana Lecouvreur
Giuseppe Verdi – Santo di patria … Da te questo, aria of Odabella from opera Attila

The concert is held with the help of the city of Kragujevac, and the entrance is free.
