The fourth concert of the season Convivium Musicum ’19 we devoted to the instrument, which is less likely to be seen in solo appearances on concert podiums. The double bass is adorned with a powerful sound and a grandiose volume that is considered to be the carrier of the entire orchestra. At the next concert of the Convivium Musicum ’19 season, which will be held on Thursday, April 25th, audience in Kragujevac will have the opportunity to hear prominent domestic pianist Nebojsa Maksimovic.
Piano is the choice of Nebojsa Maksimovic since the second year of his life. He started musical education in his native Belgrade as a four-year-old. Apart from his master’s degree at two academies – the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade and the Academy of “Santa Cecilia” in Rome, he defended first artistic doctorate at FMU in Belgrade and thus became the first doctor of arts in our country. Listening to the concert of the pianist Eugen Indjic, who is according to all odds one of the greatest living interpreters of Frederik Chopin’s work, it was precisely this ‘phenomenon of silence’ after the concert that was necessary for us to translate his art of playing into words. Maestro was received in front of the city was by Mr. Aleksandar Stajn, assistant to Mayor for internal and international cooperation.
